"Instagrams From The Nation's Capital" is part of a larger body of work entitled, "On the Run in DC" - a collection of photos taken and edited on the iPhone 4 by Michael DeAngelis, a photographer based in Washington, DC.

Michael is an educator, technophile and political and social media junkie. He is, well, an addicted observer of the world. He will photograph just about anything (the iPhone helps with this part) and edit them with a dash of fine art sensibility. He is currently based in the nation's capital where he lives with his girlfriend and cares for his lovely lavender plant.
